Leading UK steel door manufacturer Bradbury is launching the security rated M2M Door Range. Shown for the first time at Interbuild 2008 the range has a revolutionary new adjustable ‘fast-fit’ frame system that the Company guarantees will make fitting significantly quicker and easier. The frame also houses internal chasses (patent pending) re-enforcing the hinge areas – the weakest parts of traditionally designed doors. Providing the quality standard in British made security doors, the M2M Range also offers LPCB Certification to Security Levels 1,2 and 3.

 Managing Director Tim Strawson explains the thinking behind the range, ‘We have re-engineered our premium range doors for increased strength and the option of an adjustable ‘fast fit’ frame. This overcomes the fact that although doors are made to precise measurements - in reality no door opening is completely parallel or square. It is these irregularities combined with the size and weight of security doors that can make fitting difficult and time consuming and necessitates the use of packers or shims. Since time is money the fast-fit frame represents big cost savings for fitters.’

Each fast-fit frame comes with 10 adjusters – a fitter has 24 positions around the frame to secure the door with the adjusters. These are tightened with a simple socket set and will cope easily with up to 25mm variances, so shims or packers are not necessary. Once a fitter is happy that a door is secure drilling is easy – fixers are drilled directly into the adjusters that hold the door firmly in place.

M2M Doors also have a hidden benefit. Mr Strawson explains, ‘unique chasses hidden in the frame give exceptional rigidity to the hinge areas. Furthermore all doors are double hinged with top quality Grade 13 stainless steel hinges.’

Depending on security requirements, customers can choose between the non certified door M2M door or M2M¹ that is security rated to LPCB Level 1. Certified to levels 2 and 3 respectively M2M² and M2M³ provide higher levels of security.
