Managing Director Tim Strawson explains how the hinge chassis system addresses the intrinsic weakness in traditionally designed doors, “The weight of a door, particularly a steel door makes it vulnerable to sagging and bowing around the hinges and in the event of an attack it is not uncommon for doors to be jemmied out from the hinge side. The hinge chassis system within the door frame greatly increases the rigidity and hence strength of the door.’

Only M2M Steel Doors are constructed with this unique Hinge Chassis System and the doors are further strengthened by a minimum of 7 no. heavy duty dog bolts and 4 no. grade 13 stainless steel hinges. Each M2M Steel Door is individually designed and made to order enabling an unbeatable selection of sizes and options to be incorporated. These include the revolutionary ‘Fast Fit Frame’, proven to reduce installation times and offered at no extra cost.

As part of the range, M2M⁺ Steel Doors are available as single, leaf and half and double steel doors with glazing or louvers as an option. M2M¹ Steel Doors are available as a single outward opening door certified to LPS1175 Security Rating 1. Third party certification may be specified by architects, designers or clients and can serve to reduce insurance premiums.

If a fire resistant door is required Bradbury’s Fast Track 4 Fire Steel Door Range leads the field in fire door engineering. Independently certified by Chiltern International Fire to be fire resistant for a minimum of 4 hours, Fast Track 4 Fire Steel Doors have added steel casing to protect the door locking mechanism, specialist door infill and additional welding. Fire resistant glazing is an option however this reduces overall fire door resistance to a minimum of 1 hour.
