Bradbury Security Break Down the Barriers of Grille Design

The new CX retractable grille range by leading physical security specialists Bradbury launched at IFSEC 2007, is a response to demand by the Company’s trade partners for increased choice and flexibility whilst retaining the design quality on which the Company’s reputation has been built.

The new CX Range consists of two new grilles, the CX1 and CX3 and the highly successful CX2, introduced by the Company in 2006 and shortlisted for the IFSEC Security Innovation Awards 2007. The made to measure grilles provide a selection of stylish curved or diamond shaped lattice, different track options and patented design features.

For the new CX1 Bradbury’s R&D Team worked tirelessly on the manufacturing processes to offer a competitive grill without compromise to quality, creating a grille for occasions when price is the over-riding factor.

The new CX3 is designed to provide the ultimate in grille strength, ease of installation and accessibility. With traditional diamond shaped lattice, the gate is a bottom rolling design with the top and bottom tracks integrated within the grille to give the added strength.

The CX2 completes the range as the first choice when an attack tested grille certified by the LPCB to LPS 1175 Security Rating 1 is required. With its distinctive curved lattice shape the CX2 is a top hung grille popular for domestic and commercial locations.

The CX Range offers different track options for use in doorways and Bradbury’s slam lock and unique Crosslinx System is incorporated into the design of all three grilles. Crosslinx replaces rivets, the weakest part of any traditionally designed grille, with a much stronger and attractive alternative. Unlike rivets Crosslinx are concealed from view within the verticals of the grille and spread the force of any attack over a much larger surface area.
