Made to Measure Technical Information
Size Ranges (structural opening sizes in mm)

Construction

Frame Profiles

A four sided frame accompanies all Bradbury Made to Measure doors. They are reinforced in the corners and secured to the wall cavity through pre-punched fixing holes which are concealed from view.

To accommodate different installation requirements the frames are available as either 100mm or 150mm deep as standard.

(There have been occasions on internal opening doors when a skirting board or dado rail may obstruct the opening and interfere with the anti-jemmy strip, spacers can be supplied to over come this, please ask for details.)

Thresholds/Sills
The bottom sills are available in the following four profiles. Frames are also available without a bottom sill.

Standard Profile
(This is a medium profile)

Low Profile
Ideal for wheel chair access

Sloped Profile
The Sloped Profile is recommended for internal opening doors.

Handing and Hardware

Made to Measure doors have a wide selection of ironmongery and accessories including vision panels, louvred panels, letter boxes and in-fill options, which will accommodate different applications, please ask for details.

When you have decided what hardware is required, it is important to determine whether your door is left or right hand active/opening, as this will reflect where on the door the hardware is fitted. Hardware can often be physically different dependent on where on the door it is installed. It is also important for ensuring the door frames are positioned correctly. Please see our handing chart for guidance.

NB. For increased security we recommend that all doors are outward opening.
