Ventis Ventilated Server Safe

The Ventis Server Safe is the strongest self ventilating server safe on the market. It offers unprecented security to servers and all 19" rack mounted IT equipment whilst providing sufficient ventilation (60% free airspace) for the equipment to continue to operate without the need for additional fans or air conditioning. It is insurance approved and is certified by the LPCB to LPS 1214 Security Category 2 (equivalent to SEAP Class 2) and Secured By Design.

Ventis Ventilated Server- Design and Suitability

The Ventis Server Safe is supplied complete with four rack mounting angles which are adjustable front and rear. It has been designed for most rack mounted equipment to be bolted directly onto the integral framework or on to shelves. The Ventis is available in 6 standard sizes and can also be used to house self contained computer servers which do not require the internal rack mounting system.

Ventis Ventilated Server- Construction

The Ventis Server Safe is constructed from 3mm thick steel sides and 4mm thick steel frame. There are no visible fixings. Cable entry holes for power are located on the top and bottom elevations. Each safe is supplied with four rack mounted angles that are adjustable front and rear. Most rack mounted equipment can be bolted either directly onto the framework or onto the shelving. Ventis Server Safes can be purchased as a stand alone or modular unit. Two 20U server safes can be stacked on top of each other and fastened together to offer two lockable units using the floor space of one.

Ventis Ventilated Server Safe - Doors

Front and rear access doors are manufactured from 5mmx25mm steel grilles to allow maximum access and natural ventilation. Each server safe has approximately 60% free airspace. Ventis Server Safe security doors have integral dog bolts and high quality heavy duty aluminium hinges as standard.

Ventis Ventilated Server Safe - Locking

Each Ventis Server Safe has a Mul-T-Lock locking system. This includes a minimum of 2 deadlocks on each Server Safe door (3 on larger sizes). These can be keyed alike or different. If keyed different is required - please specify on ordering.

Ventis Ventilated Server Safe - Powder Coating

Server safes are finished in a high quality polyester powder coating for durability. As standard the Ventis Server Safe is finished in textured grey and blue (BS00A05 and RAL 5007) but a wide choice of colours are also available (see Bradbury Colour Chart).

Ventilated Server Safe - Installation

The Ventis Server Safe comes in component or flat pack form for on site assembly. Server safes can be secured to the floor for extra security. Cross-guard also has a team of expert installers and Ventis Server Safe prices are available with or without installation. Out of hours assembly is also available on request.
