About the scheme
Our brand new 12-month Business Development Graduate scheme has start dates in March & June 2021 to attract both recent and future graduates to join our growing company. Initially based at our Head Office in North Lincolnshire, you will rotate around the business, gaining product knowledge whilst getting to know the people and our sales processes.
Throughout our programme you will gain a full understanding of how our business works, including time with the production team to enhance your knowledge of both our specialist and day to day products. You will work with our suppliers and trade partners, attend site visits with the project/installation team to see our products in real situations and meet our customers.
Placements will include both Internal and External sales and the Marketing team, this will really focus your learning and help you to fully understand how we work and provide you with a solid base for your progression. Bradbury Group has the ability to provide you with real opportunities to have a visible impact on the performance on the organisation, but our family culture means the Board of Directors know your name.
After the initial 12 months you will graduate to become a Business Development Manager, you will be allocated a region and helped to relocate, immersing yourself into the customer base and seeking out new business.
We are looking for individuals who have achieved or are on track to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 in an appropriate degree subject in the last 3 years.
An excellent relationship builder, who is great with people and capable of working across departments. You will be a confident self-starter, who is proactive and has the ability to work independently without direct supervision. Good organisational and time management skills are necessary to excel in this role.
You will possess good negotiation and influencing skills and be confident with numbers, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in a sales environment would be advantageous, but a passion for great customer service is essential.
As this role will be a regional position, you will require a full driving license. You will also need to have the right to work in the UK without restrictions, as we are unable to sponsor visa requests.
