The board of Directors for the Bradbury Group continues to strengthen with the recent appointment of Emma Barbery as Financial Director. An experienced CIMA qualified accountant, Barbery, aged 32, moves after 7 years with recycled aggregate specialists Lytag Ltd.

The rapid expansion and growth experienced by the Bradbury Group, combined with the move of Anne-Marie Barron to Production Director, created a vacancy at Board level.  With a track record that speaks for itself, Emma will be tasked with improving profitability and operational efficiency throughout the Group. She joins the Bradbury Board alongside Johnny Drury, who takes over as Managing Director of Scottish subsidiary Newton Security Doors

Commenting on her appointment she adds, ‘Bradbury is a fast moving company with an impressive client list, and I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead in achieving future growth targets.’

In 2014 the Bradbury Group, which employs nearly 200 people in Scunthorpe, received a regional Chamber of Commerce award for Business Growth, and has been credited by the London Stock Exchange as one of the UK’s most innovative companies. In less than 5 years, turnover has trebled from £4 to £15 million and during this time the business has invested heavily, including utilising a £287,000 Regional Development Grant award.
