Bradbury Receives Certification for Flood Defence Doors

1st April 2017

We are pleased to announce the full certification of Bradbury’s M2MFL doorsets, which combine LPS 1175 (Issue 7) Security Rating 2, 3, and 4, with PAS 1188-1:2014 flood certification.

Whilst exhibiting at the Security & Counter Terror Expo in London, Paul Sweeting, Bradbury’s Technical Director, received the LPCB certificate from Paul Dillon, BRE Fire and Security’s Physical Security Certification Manager.

Bradbury’s M2MFL range provides flood defence doors tested to PAS 1188-1:2014, with a designated maximum water depth of 840mm. Combining flood resistance and security, the range comprises of M2M2FL, M2M3FL and M2M4FL doorsets, certified by the LPCB to LPS 1175 SR2 – SR4. Non-security rated flood doors are also available.

Available as single or double outward opening doorsets, M2MFL comes with a variety of access options, and a selection of louvres and vision panels. The doors are also available with an integral escape hatch, allowing access and egress without compromising flood resilience.

Watertight and designed specifically to meet the needs of the utilities sector, Bradbury flood doors are ideal for unmanned locations where both security and flood protection measures are required.

For more information on these doors, please click here to download the M2MFL brochure, or contact our sales team via sales@bradburyuk.com or 01724 271999.
