Brexit Statement

13th March 2019

As a business, Bradbury Group acknowledges that ensuring the security of supply is vital to ourselves and our customers.

The majority of our raw materials are sourced within the UK, although the ultimate source of some of our key raw materials is from within Europe.

The majority of our raw materials are not limited to a small number of key suppliers or specific manufacturing patterns. These materials are used to manufacture a wide variety of products, which gives us additional production flexibility.

To provide further confidence, we have been in direct contact with our key suppliers to ensure they have contingency plans in place within their own supply chains and logistics functions. Many of our suppliers hold additional buffer stocks within the UK, as part of their normal supply chains, and these levels have also been increased during the Brexit negotiations process.

We have also increased our own stock holdings of critical and longer lead time raw materials to further protect ourselves, should there be a particularly ‘hard’ or even ‘no deal’ Brexit.

With the level of continuing uncertainty, no business can of course plan for every eventuality but we remain confident that we have taken all required reasonable steps to minimise the impact, whatever the eventual Brexit process and time frame.
