Martin Vickers M.P. Visits Youth Engineering Services

15th February 2015

Today, we visited Youth Engineering (the charitable enterprise owned by Bradbury Group Chairman, Tim Strawson) to join a tour of the operation with Martin Vickers, Conservative M.P. for Cleethorpes.

Youth Engineering is a charity established to provide employment opportunities for disadvantaged young people from the Scunthorpe area, by offering training, experience and support, enabling them to enter the job market as skilled labourers. Mr Vickers was impressed with YES’ extensive production facilities, as well as praising the initiative and support that the enterprise offers unemployed youths and the local economy. The team behind YES are planning to expand the charity and are currently in the process of sourcing new premises in the North Lincolnshire area.
