Since the introduction of Bradbury Group’s online ordering system in 2009, we have received orders to the value of nearly £6,000,000. However, 2017 is the first time we have achieved £1,000,000 of orders in a single year!
As a show of appreciation to our online trade customers, we announced that we would gift a bottle of champagne to whoever placed the £1,000,000 order. And so, on October 31st, Artisan Security Doors from Bradford made an order of M2M+ doors and were declared the winners – congratulations! We took a trip to Bradford to thank their team, and presented them with the champagne and a certificate.
Artisan is a family business that was first established in 1995. They originally only manufactured and sold roller shutters, until they met Bradbury’s Julie Redhead, Customer Service Team Leader, at a trade exhibition. Although they were not looking to supply steel doors, Julie managed to convince them to work with Bradbury. Since then, Peter Hill, External Sales Manager, took Artisan on as a preferred trade distributor, and has been working in partnership with them for over seven years.
Steve Bouchier, Artisan’s Managing Director, said, ‘Bradbury has allowed me to offer a diverse range of products, which has brought in more custom over the years. Steel doors now make up a valuable part of our business – we estimate that 40% of business we receive is for these products.’
Steve’s brother and business partner, Andrew Bouchier, told us, ‘We have found the Bradbury online ordering system really beneficial, as it saves us time in getting quotations and drawings, and it’s useful for checking which door configurations and specifications are available.’
Again, we would also like to take this opportunity to thank our valued trade customers for their continued support over the years.
